More on this analysis
What does the case count measure?
It is the number of distinct reported Singapore judgments in this corpus that cite the statute. A higher count indicates a statute that the reported case law engages with more often; it is a measure of litigation volume, not of any statute's importance or scope.
Methodology
Each statute is ranked by the number of distinct reported Singapore judgments that cite it. Statutes are grouped by their chapter (Cap.) number where available — which unifies the many name variants of the same Act — and otherwise by name; the display name shown is the most common name recorded for that statute. Counts reflect citations in reported decisions only. Figures were last computed on 2026-06-14 and update as the corpus grows.
