About SG Case Law
Free access to Singapore case law, with plain-English explanations grounded in the judgments themselves.
What this is
SG Case Law is a free, searchable database of Supreme Court judgments, alongside a growing layer of plain-English explainers of the doctrines, statutes, and procedures those judgments turn on. Where most legal explainers stop at generalities, every page here ends with the actual cases — so you can go straight to the source.
Our approach
We report what the courts have decided, drawn from primary sources, and link every claim back to the judgment or statute it rests on. Content is compiled under organizational authorship — see our methodology for how we source, classify, and ground what we publish, and what we deliberately hold back.
Where the data comes from
Judgment data is sourced from eLitigation, operated by CrimsonLogic for the Singapore Courts. SG Case Law is an independent project and is not affiliated with the Singapore Courts or CrimsonLogic.
Important
Everything here is information, not legal advice — see our disclaimer. Questions or corrections? Get in touch.
