She joined the Legal Service Commission in 2003 and was posted to the Supreme Court as a Justices' Law Clerk and thereafter, as an Assistant Registrar in the Supreme Court in 2005. She moved to the Civil Division of the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) in 2009, where she served in various capacities, including as Deputy Chief Counsel of the Civil Division and Senior Director of the Knowledge Management Unit and the Strategic Planning Office
