Summary
Two Singapore franchisees of GNC Holdings applied to set aside an enforcement order for a US arbitral award on grounds of jurisdiction, natural justice breach, and public policy. The SICC allowed the application in part, declining to enforce specific performance orders requiring assignment of domain names and social media accounts as those were not amenable to enforcement in Singapore, but otherwise dismissed the challenge and enforced the remaining orders including damages and termination-related relief.
