Founded Davinder Singh Chambers in 2019 after a 37-year career at Drew & Napier, where he served as CEO and executive chairman. Chairman of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). First lawyer from the Asia-Pacific region inducted into the Benchmark Litigation Hall of Fame. Served as a People's Action Party Member of Parliament from 1988 to 2006.
Read law at the National University of Singapore on a DBS Bank scholarship. Joined Drew & Napier as a pupil under Joseph Grimberg in May 1983, breaking his bank bond to pursue advocacy. Spent 37 years at the firm, rising to CEO (17 years) and then executive chairman. Departed in January 2019 to establish Davinder Singh Chambers. Appointed Senior Counsel in the inaugural 1997 batch.
