Acted in Chan Kum Hong Randy v PP [2008] where the accused's jail sentence was reduced from 5 years to 2 days due to inordinate prosecution delays — a landmark sentencing discount decision.

Persuaded the High Court to set aside a conviction and 9-year jail term in Yunani bin Abdul Hamid v PP [2008] on the basis of a vitiated guilty plea. Then secured a full acquittal in an 8-day retrial.

Successfully defended a man charged with six counts of rape and sexual assault against a minor-aged complainant at the High Court and Court of Appeal in PP v Mohd Ariffan [2019] 2 SLR 490, identifying major inconsistencies in the complainant's account.

Acted for a disbarred advocate seeking reinstatement to the Bar after 10 years — the first reinstatement granted by the Court of Three Judges in over 20 years.
